Let this be the beginning of a holiday family tradition…bring the faimly down to Cedar Falls Main Street November 27 at 6pm for the official kick-off of the Christmas season! So many fun events are planned for the evening from 6-8. Santa will be arriving at 6…proclaiming the Christmas season to be officially under way. The march of Santa down main street. Businesses will be open for all to start their holiday shopping. There will be live music outside. The night will end with fireworks in the sky! Don’t forget to bring out all of your little ones for the annual Trick or Treat on Main Street on Saturday, October 31 from 3:30-5. Always so much fun to see all of the different costumes and smiles on their faces. If you have never attended this event…this is something you don’t want to miss! Candy given out by all of the business’ on all four blocks.

Get ready to come show your UNI spirit!!! On Thursday, October 15, from 5 pm – 8 pm Runway will be having it’s first tailgate party of the season! This is going to be an awsome event giving you the chance to be the first to see all of the new UNI clothing being offered for the season. Community Main Street invites all new freshmen students to Cedar Falls to Main Street’s “Panthers on Main.” Freshmen students will be bused downtown to enjoy street music, a scavenger hunt, great prizes, food and an opportunity to “Meet their friends on main!”
